Meet Paige and Michael, the two new addition’s to Toni and Rob’s Family. I have known Toni for about 7 years, and truth be told, I would be completely lost without her. I cannot even begin to describe my excitement that she finally has two little ones of her own. They are completely angelic and adorable, and I am so blessed to have gotten the chance to meet and photograph them at only 10 days old. I am so excited to watch them grow and I know that they will become amazing people, just like their parents. I was talking to Toni’s mom, and I was telling her about how anxious I am to be able to tell Paige and Michael how amazing Toni has been to me since I met her. Forgive me for getting all sappy, but I can’t wait until they are old enough to understand how wonderful their mother is, and how many lives she has touched and changed for the better. Congratulations Toni & Rob. I love you both (& the kids) so much.
Gabby is not only a dear friend, but you could also say she’s family. She and Justin met in Paradise Bay, Bahamas, and let’s just say it was definitely more than the Bay that was considered paradise. Gabby is originally from New Jersey, and Justin is from Ohio. (Which of course makes for some rivalries) They made their relationship work long distance from the very beginning and anyone can see how strong their love is. I was lucky to meet Justin this previous spring, and it was beyond obvious how much they belong together. I know that Gabby is a child at heart, and thankfully, Justin is too! We had so much fun, minus the mosquito bites, of course. There was so much laughter, a little bit of tree climbing, and a lot of “Justin, open your eyes!” They look so happy together, and I wish them the best of luck with all of the wedding plans that must be accomplished before their wedding next July. Congrats, and I am so happy for both of you!

Despite tornado warnings and threats of flash flooding, the sun decided to shine down on Mitch and me! I guess this shoot needed to happen. Even though it was scorching hot and humid outside, Mitch was a trooper in his jeans and button down. I had so much fun shooting with him, and he was an absolutely fantastic model. (He even laughed at my horrible attempts at a joke.) I couldn’t be happier with the way the photos turned out. The shoot turned out so well, and Mitch was very personable and really easy to work with!

While winter made me close up shop for a bit, when spring rolled around (arguably, but calendar proven) I sprung right back into action! Jo-Ann Rodriguez, editor of Women’s Entertainment Today Magazine, contacted me in early March, asking if I was interested in shooting for the magazine. Of course I was beyond ecstatic. I said yes, and then she put me into contact with my models, Miguel and Jae. The shoot took place early April (sorry for the delay!) and amidst a crazy day, fantastic images were created! When I say crazy day, I mean CRAZY. I came into NYC from New Haven, and I missed my train, so I ended up waiting until the next one and being 15 minutes late, then Miguel’s car broke down, so he was late. Then we ran late with Jae as well! (Talk about hectic! Sheesh!) But overall it was a great day, and the perfect way to get back to shooting! I had a fantastic costume crew with me, Edwin, and Danielle. Both Miguel and Jae were fantastic as well! While Miguel had no problem in Grand Central Station, the Intrepid (Pier 84) had a bit of an issue with us on their property. ANYWAY, I couldn’t be happier with how the photos turned out, and I had a blast shooting with both men. Enjoy!

When I say that this was the most interesting shoot I’ve ever done, I kid you not. This was my first time doing a shoot like this, but it was new and we had a good time! Will is so much fun to work with, and has a great sense of humor. We shot down on Staple St., which is such a cool area. I think we definitely brought some attention to ourselves, as some woman took out her cellphone and snapped a few of her own shots (which Will willingly posed for) and then another man walking passed us stopped to ask me to reassure him that it was fake blood, and not real blood. (Of course it was!) When we left I guess it did seem like a TV show crime scene. Will is a great and charismatic model, and the shoot would not have come out the same without him!

We lucked out with FABULOUS weather, and I lucked out to have such a fabulous model. Working with Amanda was so much fun, and not just because we both wanted to say “Hi Amanda, I’m Amanda, nice to meet you!” We roamed and explored central park for a few hours and came across some awesome spots. I would highly recommend her to anyone else who shoots! Check this gorgeous girl out at http://www.modelmayhem.com/amandaserenityr.

After our first shoot, we were brimming with ideas for the next. Voted Most Random just released two new singles on itunes, so to accompany that, we took some new pictures. Even though it was early, they were ready to get going on the shoot. We ran around the city a bit, and they were good troopers for putting up with me! These guys are so much fun, and extremely talented. Check them out at www.myspace.com/votedmostrandom !
